You know that thousands of people here in Sarasota have yet to enter any church and may have never heard about the hope they have in Jesus? God has provided a permanent home for our church, and we couldn't be more excited to move in. This year we have set our eyes on creating a space that will engage people to encounter Jesus in a life-changing way.  We desire to design a space that is inviting and comfortable for our family, friends, and neighbors.  Part of your contribution to Heart for the House offering will allow us to purchase furniture and technology to engage people with the hope of Jesus.

We know that God has called us to be #ForTheOne, for the one person that hasn't heard about the Hope of Jesus yet. This year we have a unique opportunity to develop a long-term relationship with a specific city in the Dominican Republic. We want to serve this city through a partnership with The Children's Cup, a non-profit organization that has been serving the world's poor for years. We will begin with serving students and families and ultimately seeing a city change one person at a time. Your gift to The Children's Cup through Heart for the House will allow us to open a care point where kids will come to hear about Jesus, receive food, medicine, and other critical care. We have begun immediately serving a care point at La Barquita in the DR by sponsoring their Christmas at the Care-point. The exciting news is that Hope City will be taking regular missions trips to our care point as a part of this relationship. These trips will be open to adults and students each year. Imagine what God can do through your heart for the house offering in the life of a child!

From day 1, the next generation has been a high priority to the heart of our church because they are a high priority to the heart of God.  This year is no different! We continue to expand our efforts to partner with parents to help their kids have a faith that sticks. This year we are looking forward to hiring a youth pastor to relaunch Hope City Youth. We want to equip parents with the tools that they need to raise their children to know and love Jesus. With that in mind, we are excited about providing marriage and parenting seminars throughout the year. Your gift to Heart for the House will allow us to continue to provide materials for students to grow in their faith and cultivate a relationship with Jesus.
